Comments from the Agent:
What a shrewd purchase, just as surrounding areas started benefiting from the gentrification that the London Olympics 2012 brought to the area. Such an amazing space that would suit a range of buyers, from a first-time buyer, to growing families, right through to investors. You see, it's ready to go and a stone's throw from Victoria Park, with popular Bethnal Green & Roman Road market in Bow on your doorstep. If you want to be in the thick of London life and have the best parts of East London on your doorstep, then look no further and give us a call.
Comments from the owners:
What do you love most about your home?
We were attracted to the flat because its location near Vicky Park, Roman road and all its caf-culture and cosmopolitan shops and restaurants. There is a 24/7 Concierge and intercom for visitors in addition to a lift (no carrying shopping up flights of stairs!) The flat itself is a really great size and consists of 3 double bedrooms. Each room even has space for built-in wardrobe space so there are tons of storage options. There is also a utility room for a washing machine and dryer. The shower room is separate to the WC which we felt was a key seller especially given the 3 bedrooms. There is a fully fitted modern kitchen which is separate to the lounge with its private balcony.
Why are you moving? Both our sons lived in the flat when they moved to London for work but they have now both moved on to live in a different part of London (for work) and to Los Angeles and so it is time for us to sell up. It's a pity because we've really enjoyed visiting and seeing the area go from strength to strength; having Vicky park on your doorstep, the Olympic Facilities around the corner and of course the likes of the infamous Lord Tredegar for the odd pint.
What do you love about the area?
The flat is near Roman Road which is an emerging area of London with a really good mixture of restaurants, caf-culture and fresh food shops. It is also close to Canary Wharf and Shoreditch with excellent restaurants and bars. The area is well served by public transport with regular buses along Roman Road and Mile End tube station which is about 15minutes walk. Vicky Park is 5 minutes' walk which is great for walking, running and cycling. The canal tow path is right next to the park with links all the way through to Angel & the City. Tons of local adventures to explore at the weekend!
