Comments from the owner:

What do you love most about your home? This flat is full of light, it's lovely and spacious yet also very comfortable and cosy. The floorplan was designed to the generous Parker-Morris standards, so it is extremely practical and works well. Manuel the concierge is incredibly friendly and helpful, and I know that if I go away the place is in safe hands. The view from the balcony is one of the stand-out features, and I've enjoyed having sunny coffee mornings there throughout the summer months. I also lived here very happily during the full lockdown in spring - there was plenty of space for home-working, and the living room is a great size for yoga and workouts, not to mention the abundant green spaces in the neighbourhood.

Why are you moving? Been here for five years, and looking for a change - the idea is to buy a house next

What do you love about the area? Bow is a lovely neighbourhood full of independent businesses and surrounded on three sides by parks (Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, Mile End park, Victoria Park, the Olympic park, and the less-known Lea Valley park). I am never lacking for running and cycling itineraries. For bike commuting it's great too - 15 minutes to Aldgate on the Cycle Superhighway. It's also really very well located for getting into the West End, Stratford, Canary Wharf, Greenwich and so on. There's a great cafe in a former nunnery near Bow Church, and another just down in Bartlett Park just over the Limehouse Cut canal. One of my favourite things to do on a Sunday is to walk up the canal from the Bow roundabout to get brunch in Hackney Wick. You come off the road and immediately leave the traffic behind you.
