What do you love most about your home? The flat is full of light, it's fresh and bright even on a grey London day. The view from the balcony is one of the stand-out features, and always the first thing friends are 'wowed' by when they visit us - even more stunning at night with city lights. Every morning in sunny weather starts with a cup of coffee on the balcony and it's been perfect outside space for us. We've been really happy here in full lockdowns, with 2 people working comfortably from home (with fast fiber-optic broadband) and plenty of space for yoga and workouts. Manuel, the concierge, is incredibly friendly and helpful, and we know that if we go away the place is in safe hands.
Why are you moving? We've had a great 6 years living here and we're moving to be closer to family.
What do you love about the area? Bow is a lovely neighbourhood full of independent grocers, charming pubs (the Morgan Arms is not to be missed) and surrounded on three sides by parks (Victoria Park, Mile End Park, Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park and the Olympic park). There's no shortage of independent coffee places nearby competing to make you the perfect flat white. We love a walk up to Victoria Park, following the canal to Columbia Road Flower Market or Broadway Market, and a route back through Bethnal Green to Hackney Coffee Club. We also have a huge choice of running and cycling routes, with our favourite cycle loop taking us straight out to Epping Forest. For bike commuting it's great too - 15 minutes to Aldgate on the Cycle Superhighway. It's also got fantastic transport links for getting quickly into Soho, Shoreditch, the City, and Canary Wharf.
