Full description
On the highly sought-after Warner Estate and just a short stroll from the popular Lloyd Park this is a very desirable home. With the added benefits of being end of terrace, a large wrap-around garden, off-street parking for 2+ cars, and a garage converted into a home-studio plus outbuilding on the side; the house truly stands out.
The main house retains the original layout but has been updated over time to now feature a through lounge with patio doors to the rear garden and separate kitchen on the ground floor. Upstairs has 2 double bedrooms, a third, single, bedroom and the family bathroom. There is potential to add further bedrooms by converting the loft space. Outside has seen more substantial changes and now features a garage converted to a home studio/office, outbuildings housing a workshop and craft space, off-street parking and a mature well stocked garden.
This expansive side garden offers a lovely sunny garden for families, and great potential to those looking to extend. There are examples locally of double-storey side extensions to create a sizeable family home, or other examples on similar corner-plots of additional dwellings being built on the side of the original house (STPP).
Comments from the owner:
What do you love most about your home?
We have a very private garden with two distinct areas that catch the sun in the morning and afternoon and with nice view of trees from all windows.
The rooms all let a lot of light in and the master bedroom especially is a great size. Being an end of terrace it's a really quiet property, and it means we can play music and not bother anybody ourselves. The end of terrace also means we have space for our two working spaces: 1. The 'lean to' we build on the garden with protection from the weather: A great greenhouse and workshop/craft space. 2. The sound proof room for playing music inside the garage.
From a practical side there is plenty of storage space on the loft and also around the outside areas plus great parking space for us and visiting family and friends.
Why are you moving?
We need to relocate to look after older parents.
What do you love about the area?
The best thing is the closeness to Lloyd Park and lovely neighbourhood for walks with plenty of fun and cultural activities all year around. There's easy access to the North Circular with all the major shopping areas within a few minutes drive, as well as to Stanstead. Locally there's easy access to many buses and Tube Stations within a mile and access to Central London within 1/2 hour. There are great cycling opportunities and access the to new developed Marshes.
