Full description

Occupying a sought after position in a historic central London location, this beautifully presented two bedroom first floor flat offers ready-to-move into accommodation with stylish interiors and high-quality finish throughout. Accommodation comprises an entrance hall with wood flooring (evident through much of the property), leading into the bright and spacious reception room with ample space for relaxing and dining, and direct access onto a private balcony. The separate kitchen comprises a modern range of matching white fronted wall and base units with work surfaces incorporating an inset sink unit, induction hob with overhead extractor and electric oven below, and further space for appliances. There are two well-sized double bedrooms, each with plenty of space for free-standing furniture, plus a stylish family bathroom with a modern white three piece suite and elegant tiling.

The property is enviably situated moments' from Tower Gateway and Tower Hill stations, as well as numerous regular bus routes, all providing unrivalled cross-London links. The area offers an array of fashionable amenities, bars and restaurants, with beautiful St Katharine's Dock close by as well as the historic site of the Tower of London itself. The City, bustling Brick Lane and Shoreditch are all also within easy reach in this fantastic central location.

Top 3 things you love about your home
Floorplan, all space is well used/utilised and makes it cosy, light, airy and warm. It is quite easy to clean and maintain.
Parking, having a parking covered spot in this area makes this flat a really good buy. You can also store bikes in the parking area.
I add a fourth one, neighbours are great and you can feel a community feeling in the building (87-93 flats), which is not typical in a central location like this one where people come and go frequently.

Three things we love about the area...
It is close to Canary Wharf and the City, also a stroll away from the amenities, restaurants and shops in St Katharine Docks, Wapping (great pubs, village feeling and a farmers market on Saturdays), Spitalfields market (really cool area), Borough market (best Sunday morning plan) and Bermondsey street (also a Sunday morning plan visiting the White Cube art gallery).
Quiet, you don't think you are 3m away from the Tower of London and Tower bridge.
Really good nurseries (St Pauls, Matilda, etc) and some Outstanding primary schools such as St Paul's Whitechapel, The Aldgate School, etc
I add a fourth one, the Superhighway for bikes is just by the corner, that takes you anywhere in London using your bike.

Q&A
Why are you selling?
I am selling because we want to size up, we had a daughter 1 year and a half ago and we need a 3 bed flat (1 for us, 1 for her and 1 additional for guests (grandparents come over frequently from Spain) or a possible future sibling)
What's the area like?
It is so well located but still quiet
What is parking like?
Private parking spot, there are some shared parking spots that you use (besides yours) if you have a guest. Also, you can apply for a resident permit to park in the street, if you have 2 cars. I used to park my motorbike in the parking spot beside mine and it was ok. Also, bike spaces are available.
How busy is the road, is it quiet at night?
Very quiet, you will not believe you are so close to the busy Tower Bridge area.
I'm currently working from home, how does that work in this property?
I worked from home 4 days a week and it is perfect, also with the super speed fibre (community fibre ) installed last year now it is impossible to have bad network connections.
What's the internet like?
Super speed booster Fibre (Community Fibre provider - 300Mbps)
What's the boiler like?
New water storage 150l system and heater (installed in 2019), replacing the old one with a pump.
Are we able to do any work/extensions? No - just cosmetic
