Comments from the vendor: What do you love most about your home? We immediately fell in love with the amount of natural light that floods into the flat. Every room has a window, and that, coupled with really high ceilings and large rooms, gave us the sense of space that no other flat could compete with during our search for a home. Having our own private garden is also a wonderful bonus. It′s our own little oasis in the city, great for barbecues and the kids to play in, complete with a large Japanese pear tree (our five chickens also seem very happy here)! Why are you moving? We′re only really moving in order not to disrupt our children′s education. Our eldest is about to start primary school next year, and, being aware that our boys will eventually need a room each we feel like now is the time to move, rather than down the line. What do you love about the area? The flat is so close to a number of stations that make busy London life really easy. From either West or East Croydon we can be in Central London in under 20mins. The flip side is that we can be out in nature with our boys, visiting the vast number of parks and countryside within 20 mins by car. We′re a short walk from the hustling, bustling town centre that includes a wonderful array of shops and department stores (soon to be upgraded to a Westfield!). One of our favourite family pastimes is taking a casual stroll down to the Surrey Street market where we can pick up an unbelievable selection of fresh fruit and veg, fish, handcrafted items, plants... the list goes on! We also have IKEA and B & Q practically on our doorstep which was a life-saver when we were first setting up home here. The location really does offer so much in terms of amenities and we have some wonderful neighbours who we have had many a chat with over the fence, swapping eggs for a bottle wine, on occasion.
