Full description

Superbly situated close to the heart of Chislehurst in a quiet no-through road, this stunning five bedroom semi detached family home boasting generous off street parking, garage and secluded large mature westerley facing garden. Immaculately presented throughout, this wonderful property offers bright and spacious accommodation, significantly extended and arranged over three floors, with stylish interiors and high quality finish throughout. Flowing living space creates the perfect blend of comfort and convenience for modern family life. Features include an inviting front aspect reception room, additional lounge opening through to the well equipped kitchen/diner, downstairs shower room, first floor family bathroom, second floor WC (with potential for full en-suite if desired), gas central heating, under-floor heating to kitchen/diner and shower, double glazing, quality floor coverings including hard-wearing 'Pergo' flooring to the ground floor, and ample bespoke inbuilt storage. The house also benefits from an alarm system for added security.

Accommodation comprises entrance hall with custom-made inbuilt drawers and cupboards, and access to modern shower room, leading into the front aspect reception room with attractive bay, feature working gas fireplace and ample space for relaxing and entertaining. A further reception/lounge provides fantastic additional living space, opening through to the wonderful rear aspect kitchen/diner, flooded with natural light from a large rooflight and double doors opening onto the patio area and garden beyond. The kitchen area, with cleverly integrated television, comprises a quality range of matching wall and base units with work surfaces incorporating inset sink unit, gas hob, double wall mounted electric oven, and further integrated appliances. The garage provides additional utility space and plumbing for washing machine and tumble dryer, freeing up valuable space in the kitchen and removing additional noise disturbance from the main house. To the first floor, there are three well proportioned bedrooms - two doubles and a single/study - plus a beautiful family bathroom with modern suite. The second floor has been beautifully converted to create a further two double bedrooms plus separate WC.

Externally, the garden is the perfect space for summer gatherings, with patio to house and a large lawned area bordered by mature trees and shrubs. A rear patio area currently houses a wooden shed.

The property is conveniently located within easy access of Elmstead Woods station, with numerous regular bus routes offering good connections to the surrounding area. Chislehurst is close-by for a variety of fashionable shops, bars and restaurants, with Sidcup and New Eltham also within easy reach for a wider selection of shops and amenities. The area is also well served by good local schools and lovely open spaces.

Comments from the owner:
What made you want to buy the property? We upsized from a flat in Beckenham in order to start our family and loved the family space of the back of the house and with a seperate "adult space" to the front. Loved the village feel of Chislehurst. Excellent train routes and schools close by (both primary and Secondary)

What do you love most about your property? Quiet "dead end" road. Lovely neighbours (often have street parties etc) Equal distance from the high street and Elmstead woods station. We have off street parking and a westerley facing garden that's not overlooked at all.

Why are you selling? We are looking for our next (and hopefully final) step on the property ladder as our boys grow up now we have finished at primary school. We will be super sad to leave Chislehurst. We have loved living here.

What do you love about the area? Brilliant train lines to London and fantastic schools. Just over an hour to the coast and within an hour to both Gatwick and Stanstead. Amazing community and village feel to Chislehurst. We have made lifelong friends here.
