What do you love most about your home? The ceilings are very high, which gives you a feeling of space, even though it's not a large house. The windows are huge, which makes it light and airy - the windows take up half of the wall. I love that it's completely my own, so once I close the door, it's my own little world. It was the first home I owned, and I've lived here happily for 15 years.It's a unique home, and people who see it really like the size and shape of it. It's a cool house in the summer, and never feels stifling, but it's still cosy and warm in winter. It has extensive built in cupboards and wardrobes throughout the house, so there is always a place to store everything.

What do you love about the area? Plumstead is a warm and vibrant community, it's incredibly diverse, and so you meet people of all ages, and from everywhere in the world. It has some brilliant local Asian food stores which sell good quality and fresh products, as well as having all local amenities such as supermarkets, and all manner of shops a stone's throw away. Plumstead station is 5 minutes walk away, and it's only 20 minutes walk to Woolwich - which has even more shops and facilities, pubs and restaurants, as well as a DLR station, and a tube station from 2021, giving speedy access to central London. t's close enough to central London to feel part of the big city, but has a great urban vibe all of its own.
