Full description

Featuring a principal bedroom with built-in storage, main bathroom, open plan living/kitchen space, and a private winter-garden with striking views over Battersea Power Station and beyond, this luxury flat in Battersea Exchange is well suited for first time buyers, young professionals or individuals searching for a city pied-a-terre. The property also benefits from underfloor heating throughout, secure access and lift.

For leisure, the open green space of Battersea Park is moments away, whilst the mixture of restaurants, cafes, and bars at Battersea Power Station are also easily reached by foot. For a wider variety of shops and amenities, Chelsea and the King's Road are just across the bridge and easily walkable in less than 30 mins.

Day-to-day practicalities are taken care of by a variety of local stores including a Sainsbury's Local within the Battersea Exchange development itself, whilst some of the best coffee in London can be found at Sendero Specialty Coffee just around the corner. Direct transport into central London is available from Battersea Park (5 minutes to Victoria) and Queenstown Road (5 minutes to Waterloo) stations, along with various bus routes, and a Santander Cycles docking station closeby. The Battersea Power Station Northern Line extension is due to open in 2021 and will also be within walking distance.

Words from the owner

What do you love most about your home?

We love the open plan living space. It's great for entertaining and really enhances the feeling of space in the flat. The design is very modern and the built-in kitchen is spacious too which makes cooking fun. We also love the underfloor heating so you don't have to mess around with radiators and boilers. Importantly, there is also plenty of storage which keeps the living space clear.

The flat faces central London and the views are spectacular. You can see Battersea Power Station, the London Eye and Houses of Parliament from both the living area and the winter garden. It's great to have drinks in the evening overlooking the whole of London.

Why are you moving?

We're getting married so need more space, but are staying in the area. We love it here!

What do you love about the area?

The area is great. You have a brilliant independent coffee shop, a Sainsbury's Local and a good brew pub all within 2 minutes walk. There are tonnes of restaurants and bars in the Power Station as well as large Tesco and Waitrose stores all within walking distance.

Battersea Park is just 5 minutes away too so you don't really need to ever leave the area.

If you do want to go further afield there are loads of bus routes and train lines to Victoria and Waterloo. The tube is also scheduled to open this year from the Power Station, which will make transport even easier - although we don't even miss having it now as we're so well-connected.

We also visit the Kings Road in Chelsea quite often which is only a short bus ride away - or walkable if you're feeling energetic!

Basically, everything is close and you never have to go to the same place twice.
