Full description

Featuring a principal bedroom with built-in storage, bathroom with rain shower and underfloor heating, and open plan living/kitchen space, this beautiful flat is well suited for first time buyers, young professionals or individuals searching for a city pied-a-terre. The property also benefits from an excellent decorative finish, a nook with bright lightwell (currently fashioned as a work-from-space), and a fresh air ventilation system.

For leisure, the open green space of Battersea Park is moments away, whilst the mixture of restaurants, cafes, and bars at Battersea Power Station are also easily reached by foot. For a wider variety of shops and amenities, Chelsea and the King's Road are just across the bridge and easily walkable in less than 30 mins.

Day-to-day practicalities are taken care of by a variety of local stores including a Sainsbury's Local within the adjacent Battersea Exchange development, whilst some of the best coffee in London can be found at Sendero Specialty Coffee just around the corner. Direct transport into central London is available from Battersea Park (5 minutes to Victoria) and Queenstown Road (5 minutes to Waterloo) stations, along with various bus routes, and a Santander Cycles docking station closeby. The Battersea Power Station Northern Line extension is now open and is also within a few minutes' walking distance.

Words from the owner

What do you love most about your home?

First, the location. This is our favourite corner of Battersea Park, with the Peartree Cafe and boating lake a short walk away and great pubs, restaurants and coffee spots on the doorstep. We walk to work in Westminster and have excellent train, bus and tube options within a 5-minute walk.

Second, the rooms are nicely proportioned and the split-level design (plus having our own front door) combine to make it feel much more homely and unique than other flats nearby.

Third, the quality of the finish and little details - from the quality of the kitchen units and shower, to the feel of the chrome light switches. We appreciate the details!

Why are you moving?

Combining incomes with my partner, and planning for the next 5+ years, we're looking for a little more space to grow into. We love the area so much we're hoping to move to a flat just around the corner.

What do you love about the area?

It's the perfect location to be close to the park, Power Station, transport links, and also a short walk to Northcote Road in Clapham or King's Road just over the river. Some of our favourite spots in all of London are on the doorstep - Sendero coffee, Kucci Cafe and the Mason's Arms - all of which have lovely owners who like to get to know the locals. And, finally, there's five good supermarkets within a 2-10 minute walk.
