What do you love most about your home?
The flat is south facing and is full of light and sunshine, which is one of my favourite things about this flat.
I have my private car parking space directly outside my flat.
I've spent many years modernising and upgrading my home to make it into a stunning and even more comfortable place to come home to.
A year ago I installed a new heating system and a Howdens state-of-the-art kitchen with grey sparkly quartz worktop and fully integrated Neff appliances, making full use of the space.
The bathroom is also designed by me a year ago and has a soft beach and sea colour scheme, with designer floor and wall tiles, plus designer wall cabinet with lights and matching sink and cabinet combo which adds necessary storage.
I have a second bedroom which is perfect to use to work from home or can be used as a bedroom with small double bed if required.

Why are you moving?
This was my first flat, I bought it when it was the show home in 1995, I love it but it's now time to move to find more space as I want to teach yoga from home and have a studio.

What do you love about the area?
There are a fantastic selection of shops, cafes and restaurants and it's no more than 15 minutes into London Waterloo by train and there are great bus links right on your doorstep to Victoria and Westfield shopping centre. Southfields tube station is just 15 minutes walk away with great shops and restaurants. I particulary love the Wimbledon Farmer's market on a Saturday morning, only 10 minutes away. Wimbledon Tennis is only 15 minutes drive, and you can get to Wimbledon Common Tea Rooms in 10 minutes, where I often go for lovely walks across the common and on into Richmond Park. If you walk in the other direction from my flat you come to Wandsworth Common which has a sweet little lake and an abundance of coffee shops, restaurants and boutique clothing shops. I also love the Corner Pin Cafe for brunch and coffee, 5 mins walk and the Green Curry Thai takeaway just across the road for fabulous Thai food. St. George's Park is just 5 minutes walk, great for runs, walks and has two separate green areas, one with swings and slides for the kids and a sweet little lake with swans and signets in the spring.
The new Ram Quarter area, 10 mins walk, is a fabulous contemporary area where you can explore fashionable boutiques, galleries and artisan cafes of picturesque Old York Road or shop for your essentials at Waitrose in the Southside Shopping Centre and Sainsburies is just across the road. From there it's a short stroll to the Thames or the local parks and green spaces such as Wandsworth Park.
