Comments from the owner:

What do you love most about your home?
Where to start?! I have lived in the flat for 14 years and I'm now reluctantly moving on. There are many things I love about this flat, but one of the most striking has to be the high ceilings. At 3m 50cms, they give an amazing sense of space and grandeur the moment you walk in. Friends and visitors still say, "Wow" when they step in to the lounge or master bedroom. Additionally, the flat is really light and airy thanks to the huge windows, with sunlight that beams in from the East from sunrise onwards. You are not overlooked by any other property and the tree you see from the main window changes with the seasons and gives a wonderful outlook as you sit on the sofa looking at greenery turning to Autumn browns, or Spring and Summer Blossom . Lets now talk about the location, which is second to none. You are surrounded by accessible green space with Wandsworth and Clapham Commons both only a stones throw away. Add in only 5 minutes to Clapham Junction Station and Central London is now less than 15 minutes, with 7 minutes to London Waterloo or Victoria. If you want to go the other way, Brighton is just under 50 minutes and Gatwick Airport only 26 minutes by direct train, with my record for being sat in departures drinking a G&T after walking to the station, catching the the train, checking in and going through customs just 52 minutes in total ! Finally the proximity to St Johns Hill and Northcote Road for cafes, bars and restaurants means you need never eat in and a great night out followed by a posh brunch the next morning is only ever a walk away. …Remind me again why I'm moving ?!

Why are you moving?
As I have said, it's with reluctance that I am moving on, although after 14 years I am simply seeking a change. It may be that I stay in the area as it is fantastic or as I have many friends all over the country who also live in amazing places, maybe its time to spread my wings. We shall see.

What do you love about the area?
I think I've answered this in question one, however I would say that Clapham Common is really great! I have built up many friends through my fitness class that I have been doing on the common for the last 6 years. There are simply so many people out and about doing activities year round, fitness based or otherwise, you will easily find a group to join in with a build a place in the community. Additionally Richmond Park is only 4.5 miles away and as a keen cyclist, this has also been a haven of mine for the duration of the time I've lived here.
