What do you love most about your home?

The thing that really attracted us to this flat when we moved in was the light flooding in through the big windows in the morning at the front, which moves round to the bedrooms in the afternoon. We love the access to a garden, the quiet road, and the flat is also spacious, with the second bedroom offering an ideal place to work from home.

Why are you moving?

We've been really happy in this flat for eight years now, and the only reason we're moving is to be a bit closer to family in West London. We could otherwise see ourselves living very happily here for another eight years.

What do you love about the area?

Our favourite thing about this flat's location is having the huge open spaces of Tooting Bec Common just at the end of the road - an absolute lifesaver during the Covid lockdowns! It's an amazing place for a stroll, a run, or (weather-permitting) a swim at the lido. We've spent hours picnicking on the grass with friends. Within a few minutes walk of the flat there's a fantastic range of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants along Streatham High Road - we particularly love the Blackbird Bakery, or Estate Office Coffee - and even more options nearby in Tooting and Balham. Streatham Common, with the Rookery and Norwood Grove's views over South London are also nearby.
