Full description

This unusually large 2 bedroom maisonette is located moments from Battersea Park and Albert Bridge and is brought to the market chain free. This home features two generously sized bedrooms, a large kitchen with dining space, two bathrooms and a first floor reception room with bay window overlooking the pretty treelined street. The property also benefits from its own private entrance and elevated living space occupying both the first and second floors. Subject to necessary permissions it could be possible to extend the property further with a loft extension or roof terrace.

Parkgate Road at the top of Worfield Street offers fantastic options for eating and drinking, including the acclaimed Nutbourne Bar and Restaurant. For a wider variety of shops and amenities Chelsea and the King's Road are just across the bridge and easily walkable.

Day-to-day practicalities are taken care of by a variety of local stores including Bayley & Sage in Parkgate Road and a Co-op, butcher, Italian Deli, post office, dry cleaners and chemist on Battersea Bridge Road. Direct transport links are available into central London via various bus routes on Battersea Bridge Road and a couple of Santander Cycles docking stations close by. Clapham Junction is easily accessible by bus or by foot. The River Boat is accessible from Cadogan Pier just over Albert Bridge or from Battersea Power Station on the other side of the park.

Some words from the owner
Having lived on Worfield Street for 27 years I can honestly say it's a wonderful place to live. We have a fantastic community and it feels very much like a London equivalent to a village. Many of the residents have been here longer than me. We have a WhatsApp group for the street which has been very useful during lockdown to keep us all connected.

Battersea Park is on the doorstep with its cafés, gardens and sports facilities. The King's Road is a 10 minute walk over beautiful Albert Bridge with its abundance of shops, restaurants, the Saatchi gallery and Chelsea Physic Garden.

NB. Please note this property has been digitally staged with furniture.
