Additional benefits include large communal gardens, recent redecoration works and low running costs.

For day to day convenience, a Tesco Metro store is a short walk away, whilst Central London is accessible from both Queenstown Road (5 mins to Waterloo) and Battersea Park (4 mins to Victoria) stations. Clapham Junction is a 15-min bus ride away, with trains to Gatwick airport taking only 25 minutes.

Some words from the owner

What do you love most about your home?

Some of our favourite things about our flat include the great natural light, good size rooms, plentiful kitchen storage, and the communal green space we look out onto. Also, the flat is well insulated, so it remains cool in the summer and cozy in the winter.

We love that we've really been able to make the flat our own. It's been both a rental property and now a home for us, so we've been able to adapt it to our needs during the time we've owned it. Over the course of the last year, we've transformed the balcony into a lovely, usable space where we've been known to enjoy a glass of rosé or two.

Why are you moving?

We're moving abroad to Canada (one of us is Canadian), as we want to raise our two children there and be closer to family.

What do you love about the area?

We've lived in Battersea for about 10 years and have enjoyed the fantastic selection of restaurants, bars, cafés, and playgrounds all around. We love taking walks/runs around Battersea Park (the best neighbourhood park in London, in our opinion), visiting Pear Tree Café (coffee in the morning, then live music and drinks in the evening), and strolling to the King's Road, Northcote Road or Battersea Power Station. There are so many great things to do right on our doorstep, such as picking up a phenomenal Detroit Pizza, taking an early morning trip to the New Covent Garden Flower Market or enjoying a refreshing swim at the Latchmere Leisure Centre.

Battersea has great bus and train connections to the City and West End, with three different train stations are within 15-20 minutes' walk. Soon the Northern Line Extension will be opening, which will be an absolute game changer! With Clapham Junction so close, it's super easy to escape the city for a bit of countryside or get to Gatwick.
