What do you love most about your home?

My favourite feature of the flat are extra tall ceilings - they're very unique and make the flat feel very spacious. As an added bonus, they also enable you to have some taller pieces of furniture to make the most of the additional vertical space.

Furthermore, the fact the flat is in a Grade II-listed Victorian building means the flat and the communal areas both have an impressive feel.

I also love the flat because it offers both a roof terrace and ground floor gardens. The terrace is lovely for inspiring views, fresh air, and sunbathing in the summer. The ground floor gardens are also nice for a quick bit of outdoor space every now and then.

The concierge are extremely helpful and nice to deal with - some have been around since I moved in 8 years ago! They are very knowledgeable about the building and always happy to answer any questions, as well as staying late in the evening to ensure the building is safe and secure.

Why are you moving?

We need more space. The flat is ideal for a single person or as a starter flat for a young couple, but we now want to settle down for the long term and require more space. The building and area are lovely though, so still keen to stay in the building (where we are currently renting another property!).

What do you love about the area?

Being right on the doorstep of Battersea Park is the main perk of living in the area. You can very easily go for strolls, runs and play tennis. The riverside is also extremely close, with a nice pathway

There are some nice neighbourhood restaurants on Battersea Park Road for a quick bite, the new restaurants and bars in Battersea Power Station are also only a short stroll away.

Getting into central London areas is extremely easy too, there's a bus stop right outside that can take you to Victoria or Shoreditch. Battersea Park and Queenstown Road stations are only around 7mis walk away.

Groceries are extremely easy to get as there's a large Tesco across the road, making it easy to pick up anything last minute or just treat it as your outdoor pantry.
