Full description

Guide Price £300,000-£315,000. An excellent 1-bedroom flat with far-reaching views, situated moments from the open green spaces of Battersea Park and Clapham Common, and the amenities of Clapham Junction, Lavender Hill and Battersea.

With a large master bedroom with built-in storage, kitchen with high-spec oven, bathroom with tub and over-bath shower, and living room with plenty of natural light, this flat on Gideon Road is well-suited to first-time buyers, investors and young professionals. Additional benefits include plenty of storage, low running costs, and no chain.

The green spaces of Clapham Common and Battersea Park are in easy walking distance, as are the restaurants, shops and bars of Lavender Hill, Northcote Road and Clapham Junction. Battersea Power Station, Chelsea and the King's Road are also a short bus ride away.

Major supermarkets, New Covent Garden market and local independent grocers are an easy walk away. Central London is accessible from multiple stations, including Queenstown Road (National Rail, 10min walk, 5 mins to Waterloo), Clapham Junction (15min walk, National Rail, Overground), and numerous bus routes. Gatwick airport is only two stops (25 mins) via National Rail from Clapham Junction.

Some words from the owner:

What do you love most about your home?
I love this flat because it is very spacious, comfortable, quiet and very bright full of natural light with big windows and direct sunlight coming through the windows onto the living room and bedroom. Well insulated and very warm during winter, one does not need to use the heating that much even during very cold spells in the middle of winter. Being a top floor flat at the back of the building, it is amazingly quiet despite being close to Lavender Hill. In short, this is a lovely and comfortable flat that I am selling very reluctantly.

What do you love about the area?
Located at the heart of Battersea, I love its proximity to the beautiful Northcote Road and Battersea Rise shops and restaurants as well as its proximity to the town centre and Clapham Junction Station. Clapham Common is also a short walking distance away. I also love the fact that the flat is located between two parks - Battersea park and Clapham Common - both parks are 10 to 15 minutes walking away from the flat. It is also served with loads of buses heading to Chelsea, West End and the City with bus stops minutes from the flat.
