Live Virtual Open House - please enquire for recording.

An impressive family home in the small enclave of Northside, a cluster of premium roads located just north of Clapham Common.

With 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a double length reception room and open-plan kitchen-diner leading onto a private south-facing garden, this home is particularly well appointed for the growing family. The property also benefits from a cellar which could be converted into separate utility space, and a ground floor WC.

Schooling is well provided for, including the renowned Eaton House and Thomas's independent schools, the Ofsted 'Outstanding'-rated Macaulay CoE Primary School, the Lycee-linked Ecole de Wix, all less than a third of a mile away.

For leisure, the open green space of Clapham Common is seconds away, whilst the mixture of independent and well-known restaurants, cafes, bars and shops on both Northcote Road and Clapham Old Town are easily accessible in minutes by foot.

Day-to-day practicalities are taken care of by a Co-op Food store less than 5-minutes away by foot, whilst public transport is available from both Clapham Common tube station, Clapham Junction train station, many bus routes, and close-by Santander Cycles docking stations.

Some words from the owner

What do you love most about your home?

The feel of the house is very comforting and secure and it is always wonderful to come home to. We love the bright, sunny kitchen and garden andhave had some wonderful afternoons entertaining in both. The master bedroom is another favourite room - particularly with it being en suite, whilst also being so light and airy. Our street is super quiet and there is a really lovely community on the road (WhatsApp group etc). I absolutely love the location and all the people who live in the area.

Why are you moving?

We found a very special house in Hampshire which would really suit our needs as our toddler grows older. Some of my friends have moved down that way and have been very persuasive about the lifestyle. I am in two minds about it, though, as we have everything we need on our doorstep here and I will miss the area very much.

What do you love about the area?

Proximity to Clapham Common for walks and playdates and fresh air. Easy walk to Northcote Road's lovely shops and restaurants and another easy walk to Clapham Old Town's excellent restaurants and coffee shops. Wandsworth Common is also within walking distance and buses to Battersea Park and onto Chelsea / the Kings Road are super frequent and quick. Nearby schools, nurseries and baby/toddler classes are excellent and there is a wonderful family community around us and around Northcote Road, whilst Old Town has a slightly edgier, younger vibe to it.
