Full description

A beautifully renovated and extended 2-bedroom flat with west-facing garden in the heart of Battersea, located moments from the open green spaces of Clapham Common and just a short walk to Clapham Junction Station as well as the bars, restaurants and shops on Battersea Rise and the Northcote Road.

Perfectly suited for first-time buyers and young professionals, this home features a principal bedroom with private patio, second double bedroom (currently configured as an additional reception room) with bay window and fireplace, fully renovated luxury bathroom with jacuzzi bath and over-tub shower, and naturally bright extended open-plan living/kitchen/dining area leading onto the west-facing garden via bifold doors. The renovation has been carried out to a very high standard, with real marble tiles in the bathroom and solid hardwood flooring in the kitchen. The property also benefits from its own private entrance and a cellar with potential to convert to additional living space.

For leisure the green spaces of Clapham Common are two minutes from the front door, whilst the independent restaurants, shops and bars of Northcote Road and Battersea Rise are a short walk away.

For travelling further afield, Clapham Junction station is approximately 10 minutes away by foot, taking you into central London in 6 minutes and Gatwick airport in 25.

Words from the owner

What do you love most about your home?
We love how close we are to the Common, it feels like our back garden! We also love the beautiful, original Victorian features that give the place amazing character, and since undertaking the renovations we've really enjoyed the natural light in the extended living space and how everything just works. We don't need to worry about anything being old or not working!

Why are you moving?
Moving closer to where we both work.

What do you love about the area?
We've lived in London for 10 years and settled in Battersea as it's the best area for eateries (including 2 Michelin star restaurants), wines bars (try the Humble Grape - two minutes from the flat), independent shops and social events on your doorstep. Knoops hot chocolate shop near the station is also INCREDIBLE!
