Comments from the owner:

What do you love most about your home? I love the dimensions and space in the flat. there are no odd or unusable spaces. The bedroom and balcony are huge and are the two main reasons I bought it in the first place. It really is a phenomenal amount of space. Direct access to the private balcony from both the lounge and the bedroom is fantastic too.

Why are you moving? I'm moving to move in with my girlfriend. We both own properties and her place works better for us in the long term.

What do you love about the area? Camberwell is a bit of a hidden gem. There are many buses that run quickly to Oval and Elephant & Castle Tube stations (c.10 mins) as well as all over the rest of the city. Denmark hill is 12-15 min walk from the flat giving access to the London Overground and fast, regular trains into Victoria. I work at Old Street and it's c.35 minutes door to door using public transport.
The flat is near Burgess Park which is a really good place to spend the summer. Fowlds cafe on the edge of the park is a particular highlight.

Around Camberwell Green there are lots of new places to eat and drink opening up. The Camberwell Arms is fantastic (c.7 min walk) and Theo's is one of the best pizzas in London (c.5 min walk). If you like a drink then Good Neighbour is a really nice spot and for a huge array of craft beers there is the Stormbird. A bit closer to Elephant & Castle is the Orbit brewery too!

Food wise Camberwell is really diverse. I mentioned Theo's but Silk Road has amazing Chinese Food and Flour to the People is my favourite place for brunch and there is a small farmers market on Camberwell Green every Saturday.

I follow this Twitter account for new openings in Camberwell:
You're also really well placed to get to Brixton and Peckham quickly with all that they have to offer too.
