Comments from the owner:
What do you love most about your home? The natural light is amazing. It really stood out after seeing so many dark flats when I was looking to buy. The sun streams through and lifts your mood. It has a double aspect and the trees outside on both sides make you feel connected to your surroundings. It's a safe area and the flat is very secure. The location is so good. It's very close to Camberwell, East Dulwich and Peckham. It also has great transport links. It's serviced by 4 bus routes and is a 10-minute walk to a variety of rail links, including the Overground and Thameslink, via Denmark Hill or East Dulwich Station. There is a car park for the block, for which a permit is free, and you can apply for a garage.

The storage in the flat is great. Spacious built-in wardrobes in both bedrooms and the hallway. The flat also comes with a locked storage room, located at the ground floor entrance. It would easily store a couple of bikes. I use it for DIY materials, camping equipment and suitcases.
Finally, I think the block is well designed and built, totally of its era. It was built in the early 1970's and has a real modernist feel, something I have always appreciated after studying furniture design at university.

Why are you moving? It has been a fantastic place to live, hence not moving for nearly 11 years, but I have always wanted to live by the sea. I am now able to work far more remotely, so a move to the coast is finally a viable option for me.

What do you love about the area? It has the best of everything. Camberwell for its varied restaurants, East Dulwich for independent shopping/eating and Peckham for bars and nightlife. I love the fact that I can walk so easily to all three and pick which one depending on my mood. The Camberwell Arms gastro pub is my favourite place to eat and my favourite shop is Rye books in East Dulwich, who will order you in a copy of anything and you can pick it up the next day. Parks are plentiful and close. There are some amazing views of London from the top of Ruskin park which is very close and my favourite for a quick run around or lazy sunny day. There is small row of shops about 5 minutes' walk from the flat on the way up from Denmark Hill station that has a really well stocked corner shop and a huge Sainsburys is less than 10 mins walk in the other direction.
