I fell in love with this house for the beautiful 130 ft south-facing garden and the big garden room half way down, as well as the layout and wooden floors. The little work area on the landing is great, allowing glimpses down the garden, and in the winter being able to have a proper fire in the living room feels really cosy. Why are you moving? I am only moving because I met the love of my life, and we want to live together somewhere big enough for both of us. What do you love about the area? You are 5 minutes away from one of London's most romantic parks, Dulwich Park, and a short and lovely walk away across the park from one of London's best galleries, Dulwich Picture Gallery (in pretty Dulwich Village - check out Dulwich Vintners while you're there). The fantastic independent shops, bars, restaurants and buzzing Saturday market of Lordship Lane are another easy walk or short bus ride away. I will really miss Moxon's the marathon-running Fishmongers, and William Rose Butchers. There's also a great independent cinema, the East Dulwich Picturehouse & Cafe, and an excellent local leisure centre with all the classes you could want and a fab pool. Why am I leaving again?
