Property Details:
Boasting period elegance, sympathetically enhanced by modern interiors, this beautiful Victorian family home offers bright and spacious accommodation with stylish interiors and new carpets throughout.

Accommodation comprises an entrance hall with understairs storage and stairs rising to the first floor, leading into the bright and spacious reception room with attractive bay window to front. A further reception room enjoys quiet rear aspect, with a third reception/dining room conveniently leading through to the separate kitchen. The kitchen itself comprises a modern range of matching wall and base units with work surfaces incorporating inset sink unit, gas hob with overhead extractor, electric oven, and further space for appliances. A doorway leads through to the extended section of the property - a useful lobby area with access to store room/utility space and a modern downstairs bathroom with white suite. To the first floor, there are three well proportioned double bedrooms, plus a shower room with modern suite.

The property is located within easy access of bus routes providing services into Woolwich Arsenal for overground connections into London Bridge, Cannon Street and Charing Cross, or the DLR into the Docklands or City Airport. The area is also well served by a variety of shops and amenities within easy reach, as well as beautiful open spaces including Shrewsbury Park, Oxleas Wood and Woolwich Common. A selection of excellent schools makes this an ideal location for families.

Comments from the owner:

1) What do you love most about your home?
Seller's father originally bought the house in August 1977 as a starter home as he fell in love with the view, the amenities (shops, schools, park and public transport connection), the size of the rooms and the space to make it our own - it really was a blank canvas. This starter home eventually became a family home for 30+ years where at one stage there were three generations living in one home. Still has some original character features such as the tiles outside and the ceiling feature in the hallway.

2) What do you love about the area?
There is a primary school just around the corner along with a nice local park and bus connections to North Greenwich and Woolwich DLR. It's a quiet area which we believe is great for raising a young family. Also seeing some new local shops being opened as the local area goes through a refresh.
