What do you love most about your home? Our flat is south-east facing, and we get so much brightness through, even on the greyest of London winter days. The sunrises are beautiful, and you can see from the Thames to Shooters Hill from the front room and balcony. Our view is almost fully Grade II listed protected, so even though buildings are going up all over the area, our view will stay the same. We're also situated on a fully pedestrianized road, and when Crossrail does come, we are a literal minute walk away from the entrance.

The flat itself is spacious enough for two people to very comfortably work from home We have loads of storage, including a closet that is actually more like its own utility room! The balcony is a great place to watch the area come to life and provides a nice private outdoor escape.

Why are you moving? We're returning to our home country to be closer to family. We love our flat and the area, and with all that is set to come to the area, it's just going to improve with time. It's a shame we have to leave!

What do you love about the area? This neighborhood is truly unique in the way it combines history and modern builds. The Dial Arch pub, just a minute from the flat, is housed in a Grade II listed building that is the birthplace of Arsenal FC! The cobblestone streets lead to beautiful green parks where our dog loves playing, and families and friends picnic in the summer. These green spaces, as well as direct Thames path access, provide much-needed breaks from the indoors. We also have so many grocery options for staples, and when you fancy a meal out we have several lovely pubs, a French bakery, a brewery, and a gem of an Italian restaurant all within a few minutes' walk.

For runners, scenic routes lead out to Greenwich, Oxleas Wood, or Eltham. We also have the new residents' gym, swimming pool and spa for indoor workouts. When looking to leave the area, the closeby Thames Clipper takes you to Greenwich in a few minutes, or even as far as Battersea Park! We're also well-connected via the DLR to Canary Wharf/Bank, and National Rail to central London.

More than anything, though, we love the real sense of community here. Neighbours send each other Christmas cards, we're friends with the postman, and we've built up a group of fellow dog-owners who have become like an extended family. If you're open to it, there's so many opportunities to connect and be a part of the Royal Arsenal community.
