We are very fond of the location - great transport links and it is easy to walk into the centre of London. As for the property itself, being on the top floor is a real plus. The rooms are a good size and shape, giving a lot of flexibility. The handy storage closet outside the front door should also not be overlooked - it′s a life-saver as you accumulate stuff that you don′t need all year round! Why are you moving? We′re moving because we′d like a bit more space and a private garden. What do you love about the area? It′s really nice to be right next to Kennington Park which is a lovely oasis of green space to have on your doorstep. It has an outdoor gym, events in the summer, and a nice coffee shop. Our favourite pub in the area is the White Bear on Kennington Park Road (<5 minutes walk), which has a good restaurant, friendly pub atmosphere, garden and upstairs theatre. It′s great for a lazy Sunday afternoon with board games and beers with friends. We′re also fond of Mercato Metropolitano, a 20 minute walk away, near the Ministry of Sound, for great food and drink and a nice community vibe. Finally, there′s no better location if you′re into the Cricket, with the Oval just down the road.
