Our favourite pub in the area is the White Bear on Kennington Park Road (<5 minutes walk), which has a good restaurant, friendly pub atmosphere, garden and upstairs theatre. It′s great for a lazy Sunday afternoon with board games and beers with friends. We′re also fond of Mercato Metropolitano, a 20 minute walk away, near the Ministry of Sound, for great food and drink and a nice community vibe. Finally, there′s no better location if you′re into the Cricket, with the Oval just down the road.
