What do you love most about your home? We love the large windows throughout the flat, making it feel light and spacious, especially during the day when all the rooms in the flat get great sunlight. Having a balcony that overlooks Southwark Park is a great addition in the warmer months and gives you the space to sit outside without having to leave the flat. The open floor plan makes the flat flow very easily making it all feel connected and giving multiple options for how you want to set up the space. The building is very secure and the neighbours are all lovely and always willing to accept packages or help out if you need anything. The second bedroom has made all the difference during the current working from home situation, allowing a separate space for work.

Why are you moving? We are only moving because we are looking for something a bit further out of London.

What do you love about the area? The transport links is a huge plus and one of the main reasons we bought the flat. Bermondsey tube station is about a 5 minute walk from the flat. You also have three other stations all within easy walking distance both overground and underground links. The flat is about a 30 minute walk from London Bridge and even closer to the City of London and Tower Bridge.
Lots of food, coffee, honey, artisan bread shops, independent breweries under the arches just behind Bermondsey station. Maltby Street market is always great fun on weekends and less than 20 minutes from you doorstep. Just across the street on the water there are a number of pubs with outside seating where you can enjoy a pint and sit in the sun or get a warm Sunday roast on colder days.

The flat is next to Southwark Park, where you can always find people hanging out in summer or going for a walk in winter. You are also just a train ride away from Greenwich where you can explore the old town or go to Greenwich Observatory.

There is a small Sainsbury's about 3 min from the flat and a large Tesco, Boots, SuperDrug, etc about 15 minutes away at Surrey Quays Shopping centre.
