What do you love most about your home? I bought the flat as I was obsessed by light and windows. The flat is bright all day, it's just totally flooded with light. The garden is incredible and a great size. The wooden floors were a real asset too - they are hard to find these days. It's really great for commuting - we can get to Mayfair in 45 mins by train and the Strand in 30 mins on bike. Trains from Nunhead get to Victoria in 20 mins, and trains from Queens Road are really frequent, either to the east end in 20-odd mins or London Bridge in 8 mins. 




Why are you moving? We are so sad to leave but would like to move into a house for two additional bedrooms. 




What do you love about the area? We are going to 100% stay in the area if we can, because we love it so much. We go running every morning on Peckham Rye. You have unparalleled bread, cheese and wine from Bambuni, the guys in Nisa on Evelina Rd have everything, and Peckham is well and truly on the map for restaurants. It's so close to the bars and fun of Peckham (10 min walk) but far enough away from it to never feel hectic. We take everyone to Skehans, a traditional Irish pub with a great mix of locals. The garden has been a total lifesaver in lockdown. The huge cherry tree at the back is beautiful all through the seasons - particularly in spring, when the petals fall - and it creates shelter from rain and shade from sun. It's a huge asset and many a happy evening has been spent under it. Another thing we really love is the view out of the front window to the street, as it looks down the adjacent road, giving a sense of space, and the sun pours through the window in the afternoon.
