What do you love most about your home?
It ticked all the boxes for us: a contemporary house but retaining period features that add character, with very high ceilings and large windows which let in lots of light, plus all the bedrooms are double-sized, no box room here. The space to work from home easily and with access to a garden, two parks and the open spaces of Blackheath have been very welcome over the last year.

What do you love about the area?
The two nearby parks (Manor House Gardens & Manor Park) are great, especially for kids. Both contain cafés and playgrounds. Blackheath Village is easily accessed, within walking distance, and our children go to school and nursery there.

Our road has the most amazing community spirit. We know most of our neighbours on Abernethy, and are close to our direct neighbours who are lovely and incredibly welcoming. There's a street whatsapp group, and at Christmas an 'advent calendar' of neighbourhood homes decorated their front windows each night in Dec.
