What we love about the property
We love the floor to ceiling windows which make the property light and bright, especially with the morning sun. Even in the evening, when we do not get direct sunlight, the building opposite us reflects the sun, giving a lovely glow throughout the flat as the sun sets. One of our favourite parts of our home is the large terrace which we use all the time in summer, it counts as a second living area due to how private it is and sheltered from wind and rain. We also love all of the high spec features which came with the property, such as the underfloor heating, double oven and wine fridge which give our home a real luxury feel.
Why we are moving.
We are moving to Scotland for work and to be closer to family.
What we love about the location.
The location is amazing, we love being able to walk out of the door and straight onto the river path
into central Greenwich. Within Greenwich, we really enjoy visiting the food market, lovely pubs and beautiful walks through
the Naval College and Greenwich Park.
We also love the abundance of pubs on our doorstep, the Cutty Sark is just a five minute walk along the river, and the Sail Loft in central Greenwich is fantastic. Not forgetting the brand new Enderby House on site! There are also lots of great local cafes, a particular favourite is the friendly River Gardens café just a few minutes along the river path.
Having Greenwich Park so nearby is fantastic and allows us to go for long walks, forgetting we are in a major city. It also hosts our favourite view of London from the top of One Tree Hill. Greenwich feels more like a pleasant village than part of a major city, with it's friendly nature and beautiful streets, however we love the fact we are only 20 minutes away on the train from central London.
Accommodation comprises entrance hall with ample inbuilt storage and Amtico flooring with underfloor heating (evident through the majority of the apartment), leading into the bright and spacious, open plan reception/kitchen with ample space for both relaxing and dining, and direct access onto the delightful enclosed private terrace.
The kitchen area comprises a high quality range of matching white high gloss wall and base units with quartz work surfaces incorporating inset sink unit, induction hob with overhead extractor, double wall mounted electric oven/microwave, wine fridge, and further space for appliances.
There is a well sized double bedroom, with inbuilt wardrobe, plus a stylish bathroom with white three piece bath suite, separate walk-in shower unit, and elegant tiling.
The property is ideally situated within easy reach of Maze Hill and Westcombe Park stations offering excellent links into Central London and the City. Numerous regular bus routes also provide connections to the surrounding area. Greenwich itself is just a short distance away with further overground and DLR connections, as well as an array of shops, fashionable bars, cafes and restaurants. Greenwich is also home to a variety of regular markets, the iconic site of the Cutty Sark and beautiful Greenwich Park with the Royal Observatory.
The superb O2 Arena complex is also within easy reach providing unrivalled entertainment and leisure facilities including concerts, shows, cinema, restaurants, and bars.
