We're making the move to a house now that we have two children.
What's the area like?
We've lived in the area for over 7 years and love the community feel, closeness to green space and Hampstead village.
What is parking like?
We have a family SUV and always find parking on Church Walk.
How busy is the road, is it quiet at night?
The majority of windows open onto the communal garden and the bedroom looks out over Church Walk a single lane road.
I'm currently working from home, how does that work in this property?
We both work from home, one of us works from the living room and the other works in our child's office (the background of my daughter's cot has been a great talking point for sales calls).
What's the internet like?
Great, we have recently upgraded the Internet to fibre
What's the boiler like?
As part of the renovations we installed a brand new electric boiler for heating, we chose electric for environmental reasons as it allows us to use fully renewable energy, the boiler is located in the 2nd bedroom and is only needed for heating. Hot water comes from the central boiler.
Are we able to do any work/extensions?
For structural work and work where the purpose of the room is changed, permission is required from the management board for the building. We found the board to be very flexible, and when we completely renovated the flat ourselves just over two years ago, converting the bathroom into a second bedroom, received permission quickly and with no changes required to our plans.
