Comments from the owner: What do you love most about your home? Strangely we love the design of the staircase, and in particular the light that reflects on the high ceilings. Such features are quite unusual for these types of properties. We also love the luminosity of the rooms inside, the space and the feeling of having our own house in Barnsbury for a very reasonable budget. The house is a cul de sac so we live away from the traffic and in summer we can leave our windows open and enjoy the quiet. A treat in central London. Why are you moving? We are gutted to have to sell our house because we love it there. However, from two we became three... families need space... What do you love about the area? We love living in Central London, especially in Barnsbury. From our home we can walk to every cool new restaurants (e.g. the Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross is 15′ away, Upper Street 10′) and we are 3′ away from the Piccadilly line which gives us access to the best of Britain′s museums (Holborn/ South Ken) and theatres (Holborn/Covent Garden/Soho). But the best part is that we are literally 2′ away from Sundays which is a fantastic brunch place in Barnsbury. The Caledonian Road the Holloway Road are quickly transforming themselves and new cafes and restaurants keep popping out. Our neighbours are nice and there is a real sense of community and safety.
