Comments from the owner:
What do you love most about your home? The flat is to the rear of the building and is always so quiet, peaceful, and secure; a sanctuary after a busy day. The high ceilings and huge windows give light and space to the property and overlook a large tranquil garden, perfect for picnics or a glass of wine in the evening, as the sun goes down.
Why are you moving? The flat is a perfect base for all that London has to offer but having lived here for nearly 15 years, we're looking to move out of London for more space and a change of lifestyle.
What do you love about the area? The property is ideally located, for walks to the green open spaces of Highbury Fields or Clissold Park, watching the sailing at the West Reservoir over a morning coffee, or for browsing the book shops of Angel and Stoke Newington. It's a quick cycle ride to central London or a short train ride to the City, the bars at Shoreditch, or to the open spaces of Hampstead Heath.
Accommodation comprises an entrance hall with inbuilt storage, leading into the bright and spacious open plan reception with tall windows providing plenty of natural light, and ample space for relaxing and dining. An opening leads through to the kitchen area, comprising a modern range of matching wall and base units with work surfaces and metro-tiled splash-back, incorporating an inset sink unit, induction hob with overhead extractor, and electric oven, and further space for appliances. There is a double bedroom with space for free-standing furniture, and a modern bathroom with a white suite and elegant tiling. The property is very conveniently located close to beautiful Clissold Park and Highbury Fields and within easy reach of Arsenal, Canonbury, and Highbury & Islington stations, as well as numerous regular bus routes linking the surrounding area. There are also an array of fashionable local amenities, shops, bars, and restaurants within just a short distance, with Stoke Newington and Highbury village close by.
