What do you love most about your home?
From the moment we walked in we loved the combination of period features and light. Being across 3 levels the maisonette feels like a house to us. Having the eaves and loft are great for storage and we will definitely miss spending the summer evenings having BBQs or hosting in the private, South West facing garden too.
Why are you moving?
Our children are getting bigger and we need a place with slightly more space for the years ahead.
What do you love about the area?
Stephens Park and Gardens is the place we go to most, a beautiful space to explore and an interesting story to its heritage. Our local is The Catcher In The Rye which has a warm atmosphere. There is also a great local coffee place called Tintico and a superb Vietnamese restaurant. With Finchley Central Tube only a 2 minute walk, it's so easy to connect with central London.
Boasting spacious accommodation with a wealth of character perfectly blended with stylish interiors and modern design, this spacious maisonette enjoys the feeling of a house with living space beautifully split over three floors. Accommodation comprises; entrance hall with stairs rising to the first floor landing, leading into the bright and spacious reception room with feature fireplace, period style cast iron radiator (evident throughout the property), and inviting space for relaxing and entertaining.
The separate kitchen, with quiet rear aspect and plenty of space for table and chairs, comprises a modern range of matching wall and base units with work surfaces incorporating inset sink unit, gas hob with overhead extractor, electric oven, and further space for appliances. A bathroom completes the first floor accommodation, providing a modern white three piece suite and elegant tiling. To the second floor, there are three well proportioned bedrooms - two doubles, each with inbuilt wardrobes/storage, and a further single. The landing area provides access into the generous loft/eaves space, ideal for additional storage. Externally, the property enjoys a delightful south-west facing garden with all-weather surface and planted borders, ideal for al fresco drinks and dining!
The property is conveniently close to nearby Finchley Central station, as well as an array of local shops, eateries and amenities. The A406 North Circular Road is also close-by for excellent vehicular routes, and the area is well served by good local schools and open spaces including Victoria Park and beautiful Stephens Park and Gardens.
