What do you love most about your home?

The Court is an absolute haven - a private, secluded oasis in the middle of Upper Holloway, Zone 2. We moved in with a child on the way, and over the last ten years the large gated shared courtyard has been the most wonderful play area for the children here, as well as the adults. Virtually silent and totally secure, court barbecues and gatherings have been part of the happy norm - the best little community we could have hoped for. Plus there is always someone to collect your post or feed your cat! The buildings are an award-winning modern design - wooden floors, fantastic light through giant living room windows, underfloor heating - although the flat is so warm we rarely need it. We shall miss it all very much when we leave.

Why are you moving?
The bar has been set so high by The Court that we shall have a hard time living up to it, but we need a bit more space for our growing family.

What do you love about the area?
Archway is developing rapidly, with the newly pedestrianised Navigator Square, luxury flats, hotel, M&S, new coffee shops opening all the time. The proximity to tube, overground and major parks has been incredible - to be able to walk to Hampstead Heath in thirty minutes - walking past the beautiful Highgate Cemetery and Holly Village en route - has been a particular joy, as has been sledging in Waterlow Park and long leafy walks up the Parkland Walk to Alexandra Palace. Our son has had a brilliant time at both his nursery and a fantastic school, and we have made many firm friends in the area. The wider community is welcoming and fun - from being on first name terms with the staff at Sainsbury's to always seeing a face we know when we walk on the high street, we have had a wonderful time here. We have become regulars at Bread and Bean, The Spoke and Mosaic - local restaurants we love - and we are within easy walking distance of many beautiful pubs like The Flask and St Johns, the swimming pool complete with water slides, and a recently refurbished luxury Odeon cinema. We're also nestled between upmarket Upper Street, music-friendly Kentish town, leafy Highgate and parent paradise Crouch End - all just 5-10 mins drive away.
