Comments from the owner:
What do you love most about your home?
This has been the ideal first home for us. The high ceiling in the living room creates a perfect space for relaxing and entertaining. The original features including the sash windows and fireplace add character that we adore. The original flat conversion has created a unique split-level layout, clearly separating the bedrooms from the living area. The extra bedroom has proven ideal for guest visits, an office during the pandemic and more recently as a nursery for our son. The location is second to none.
Why are you moving?
We really don't want to move but we have a young son with ambitions for more children and need more space. We would ideally love to stay in the area but we are prepared to move out subject to our budget.
What do you love about the area?
We are surrounded by everything from green open spaces, great cafes, restaurants & pubs all within walking distance. Every Saturday there is a farmers' market at the end of our street. We are surrounded by countless independent shops and vintage stores. Most weekends we do not feel the need to leave the area and its friends from other areas that come to visit. We are blessed to live near to both the village feel of Stoke Newington and the excitement of Dalston. There is a great sense of community. We love the diversity of the area with the mixture of so many different ethnic communities. We are spoilt for choices when it comes to food; Turkish, Indian, Italian and the best fish and chips.
