Owners Comments:
What do you love most about your home? I loved the mix of old and new - this old music hall has had a number of iterations in the past including Krays nightclub in the 50s - when the property was converted into flats in 2006 it was done with great sensitivity to the outbuilding which is what attracted me to it in the first instance. The high ceilings and windows add great light and airiness. I also loved the security of the shared entrance and how brightly lit the road and street were when I lived there on my own. I love the light in the flat, and the details like the cornice work. All windows were custom fitted with blinds made to measure and was redecorated prior to tenants moving in, including new gas hob. The common areas were also refurbed in 2017.
Why are you moving? I moved to Haringey with my husband and daughter to move from a flat to a house before she started school.
What do you love about the area? I love the village feel of Stoke Newington with the eclectic Hackney Downs studios on the corner and the wealth of pubs, restaurants, and outside spaces I have always felt at home here - it is only 13 minutes into the city and benefited greatly from the East London line build with Dalston Kingsland station
NB. Please note that the property has been digitally staged with furniture.
