Comments from the owner:
What do you love most about your home? The rooms are spacious and receive natural light throughout the day from the large windows and high ceilings. What we loved most living there was that, with no one living above or below and having its own street entrance, the place has felt more like a house than a flat.
What do you love about the area? There are great options for local pubs, including The De Beauvoir Arms The Scolt Head, and The Lord Clyde. Great coffee is moments away from Trade on Essex Road. Walking distance of the shops and restaurants along Upper Street and Essex Road. Great transport links, with the Victoria, Northern, Great Northern and Overground lines easily accessible, as well as five frequent bus routes.
Accommodation comprises entrance with stairs rising to the first floor landing with rear aspect window and stairs turning and rising again to the second floor. To the first floor, there is a bright and spacious eat-in kitchen/dining room with plenty of space for table and chairs. The kitchen area comprises a modern range of matching white high gloss wall and base units with work surfaces incorporating inset sink unit, electric hob with overhead extractor, electric oven, and further space for appliances. An inviting reception room, with ornate cast iron feature fireplace and marble surround, spans the width of the property, providing a beautiful and elegant space for relaxing and entertaining. To the second floor, there are two well proportioned double bedrooms, plus an elegantly tiled family bathroom with modern white three-piece suite.
The property is superbly located within a short walk of Essex Road station, with Canonbury, Angel and Highbury & Islington stations also within easy reach, as well as numerous regular bus routes all providing exceptional cross-London connections. The area is well served by a fashionable array of shops, bars, restaurants and amenities, with the open spaces of Highbury Fields and Rosemary Gardens also just a short distance away. Ref: ISL
