It is an airy and light flat, you can open the balcony door on a summers evening and sit in the sun as it goes down. It's great for getting the sun in the morning at the back and in the evening at the front and you can open the windows to get a gentle breeze through (great for the really warm evenings). The bedrooms are both a good size, the spare has become our office and guest room. The open plan kitchen and living space have been the location of many evenings spent with friends and also quiet evenings in. Why are you moving? Having lived here for 8 years we feel its time to leave, it is with a heavy heart, we would like a bit more space and situations change. I guess all good things come to an end. Hopefully, someone else will be able to make this their first home and it can serve them as well as us. What do you love about the area? We have lots of friendly neighbours, the locality to the canal is great with a 20-minute walk to Victoria park (great for Sunday markets, pubs and picnics) in one direction or down to Limehouse basin in the other direction (great for evening walks and pubs, some of the locals include Sir Ian McKellan who owns the Grapes). The canal also offers great routes for running, there is a 10k loop that passes by the Olympic park and Victoria Park. Fast access into the city via 3 different tube stops  (catering to 4 lines, all within 8-minute walk). The Crossrail is also close with a stop at Whitechapel. Stratford isn't far away if Westfield and shopping take your fancy. In the time we have been here the area has really developed and there are loads of great pubs and eating places within walking distance. In honesty, if we can find what we are looking for in the area, we will stay nearby.
