There is plenty storage cupboards which means it is easy to keep the main rooms free of clutter, and the balcony is large enough to grow herbs and vegetables, or sit outside and enjoy the sun. There's also secure bike storage which is handy so we don't have to keep bikes in the flat. We both love cooking so it is great that the kitchen is big enough to comfortably cook and store all our gadgets. Why are you moving? We'd like to move closer to family outside of London and have a bit more space with an extra bedroom. What do you love about the area? We love that we are within walking distance of both Camberwell and Peckham which are both really diverse with their mix of shops, bars and restaurants. Restaurants such as Silk Road and Nandine are renowned in this area – make sure you book in advance! Our favourite restaurant/takeaway is FM Mangal, perfect for an evening takeaway or grabbing a quick bite on your way home after a late night. There’s also some really great live music at weekends, such as Jazzlive at the Crypt, less than 5 minutes away. Both Burgess Park and Brunswick park are a couple of minutes walk away with free tennis courts, park run and space for meeting friends and holding barbecues. The area is really well connected, London Bridge and Elephant and Castle are quickly accessible for tube stations and the overland from both Denmark Hill or Peckham are great for getting around.
