Comments from the owner: What do you love most about your home? We love the spiral staircase. It gives the mews plenty of character and really helps to maximise space in the already large living areas. There is so much light from the downstairs windows too. The bedroom is such a great size that I have been able to set up and desk space under the skylight, allowing me to work comfortably from home. Being a gated mews off the road also gives us the security and comfort as well. Why are you moving? My partner and I are moving out of London to be closer to family. What do you love about the area? It's a great location between Clapham Junction and Clapham Common. Being just a few minutes from Clapham Common and close to Battersea Park is brilliant for walks, exercise or meeting friends for a picnic. There are lots of local transport links - trains from Clapham Junction, tube from Clapham Common, buses right outside straight into the Sloane square and Oxford St. Take your pick! The area is full of cafes, pubs and restaurants but our two favourites are Sendero and SweetSmile Bakery, the owners of both are lovely and welcoming. Sendero holds intimate live music nights which are great to unwind after work with a gin and tonic. Both are less than a minute walk away. There are three supermarkets within 100m so spoilt for choice if you can't find what you want in one of them. For the active buyers, there is a yoga and pilates studio across the road - perfect to unwind after a long day.
