What do you love most about the flat?
We love the location and the sizes of the rooms the most. The flat is so close to the Town Centre, Enfield Chase Station and Town Park which are 3 of our essentials - the bonus is that the walk to all 3 also takes us past a couple of our favourite spots too. With Holtwhites Bakery/Deli at the end of the road, and the Crown and Horseshoes with its wonderful beer garden alongside the New River we're always really well catered for.
The room sizes are great - having a proper cook's kitchen that is separate to the lounge, not a tiny galley or thin strip along one wall sets the flat apart from a lot of others we've seen. The space all through the flat is great - and the big windows, as well as the glass panels above the doors, help every room feel bright and airy. Plus the second bedroom is great for a guest room/home office, but also can be used as a full-time double room too.
Having the communal garden and a nice green space to sit out is almost essential right now, we're not sure what people would do without some sort of outside space! There's even a little bird-bath, and with the great variety of trees around, the bird song is lovely.
Finally, there's a great variety of friendly neighbours from working professionals, to older downsizers and families in between.
What do you love most about the area?
For us, Enfield has such a great balance of London life with some of the best bits of the countryside just nearby too. There's a great community feel and loads of local pubs, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep plus the highlights of London just a short train ride away - the station being just a few minutes round the corner is great for commuting and socialising. We love the other side of Enfield too - being so close to Trent Park and the other green spaces like Forty Hall, where you can take some great walks and stock up at the Farmers Market gives the quieter side of life too.
This 2 double bedroom flat is presented in great condition having been recently updated by the current owners. There is the further benefit of outside space with a South-facing communal rear garden and private residents parking.
Being a great size and in close proximity to the transport links and centre of Enfield it will make an excellent first time, family or rental property with the space and location to meet all needs.

Within a few minutes walk along the historic Chase Side and down the path of the New River you can be at the heart of the town in the market square (where the first Market Charter was granted in 1303) and surrounded by a great range of independent shops, cafes, restaurants as well as national chains. If you're after a bit of a quieter pace then the wide-open green space of Enfield Town Park is only a short distance away on foot.
Heading just up Windmill Hill you get to Enfield Chase Great Northern service leading to Moorgate and Piccadilly/Victoria Line services at Finsbury Park. On a bus route from there you can directly access the Piccadilly Line at Oakwood Tube Station.
The recently opened C20 cycle route adds to the great commuting or day trip options. The cycle lane starts at Enfield Town and heading South through Green Lanes can give you safer cycle access to the rest of the Enfield Borough and Central London.
