What do you love most about the house?

It is lovely, comfortable family house, larger than it looks, where we brought up our 4 children. It has a pretty enclosed garden with mature shrubs and fruit trees. We like the period features, which we have added to over the years, the wooden floors and the spacious feel.

What do you love most about the area?

You have all the best bits of living in London but the countryside is also on your doorstep. The area is well connected with three train stations in walking distance - 30 minutes into Liverpool Street - lots of buses and 15 minutes by car to the M25. Everything you need is walkable. Enfield Town is an excellent shopping centre with a wide variety of shops and Pearsons, a mini department store. Good schools, the Cineworld cinema, Southbury Road Swimming Pool and leisure centre, Dugdale Centre and Enfield Town Library are nearby and there is lots of green space. Bush Hill Park behind the house, Enfield Playing Fields up the road and the beautiful Town Park 10 minutes away by foot. A bit further afield is Forty Hall, Whitewebbs and Trent Park.

Why are you moving?

The children are all grown up now and we don't need such a big house.
