This fabulous two bedroom flat has an abundance of space. The open plan and fully fitted kitchen/living room is wonderfully bright. Both double bedrooms, one with an ensuite, are larger than usual and have excellent storage. The flat also benefits from an additional bathroom, it's own private balcony and a concierge. Having spent 5 years in the flat I love how spacious it is - there is so much storage, something that's hard to come by in 2 bedroom flats in the heart of the city. And yet, despite it being very central, it always felt very calm and quiet due to it being spread across the building with both bedrooms facing to the back. Why are you moving? I'm moving out to the countryside because I'm looking for a change of pace and a quieter and greener life out of the city. What do you love about the area? With Angel and Upper Street on one side of Friend Street and Clerkenwell on the other, there are a lot of great pubs and restaurants around. I was also lucky enough to not have to use public transport for my commute working in Old Street/Moorgate, Clerkenwell, Barbican and Chancery Lane - all of which are within walking distance from the flat. Regents Canal is about 2 minutes away which is great for running/walking/cycling, you can wander all the way to Camden and Regents Park or the other way to Victoria Park and Wapping. Camden Passage is a lovely place for vintage shopping, brunch and people watching - I used to spend a lot of weekends there browsing the stalls.
