Top 3 things you love about your home
1. Having my own outside space in such a central location was one of the things I first loved about the flat. Being able to start the day with a coffee outside or catching the last of the sun in afternoon made lockdown much easier.
2. Being able to come home late at night and not have to leave the well lit main road has made me feel really safe, but once you're inside the flat there is no disruption from traffic noise. It's the perfect location if you want to be out a lot, but to keep home quiet.
3. As the basement flat, it's cosy and warm in winter but in summer it stays really cool.

Three things we love about the area.
1. I couldn't have had a better location for enjoying all the social and cultural opportunities of Islington. From live music to theatre and restaurants and bars, everything is within comfortable walking distance.
2. There is lots of green space close by in every direction. Despite being so central, there is a feeling of space and calm to the surrounding area.
3. Despite all of the attractions of the local area, getting out of London is also really easy. Having Kings Cross, Euston and Farringdon Stations so accessible is great for getting away.


Why are you selling? - Looking for a larger property

What's the area like? - Great. Very Central but quiet.

What is parking like? - Permits available from the council. Spaces on the forecourt at the front are available for rent as well.

Is there bike storage? You could easily install a bike stand on the front patio

How busy is the road, is it quiet at night? - Although City Road is a busy road, this side of the street is closed to through traffic except buses and once you're inside the flat it's very quiet and feels secluded.

I'm currently working from home, how does that work in this property? The wifi is great. I've created a space to work at the end of the hallway by the kitchen and there is also enough room for a workspace in both the lounge and the bedroom, depending on your preference. I've been working from home since March 2020 and have enjoyed being able to move to different locations throughout the flat during the day. The wifi also works in the garden!

What's the internet like? - I get a great signal with Virgin Media. Other flats in the house use other providers and all have been able to work from home without problems.

What's the boiler like? It was new in 2013. No problems.

Are we able to do any work/extensions? The flat is in a conservation area so you would need to be conscious of that. Some of the flats in the terrace have installed garden offices.
