Broadway Market is a five minute walk from the house with lots of bars, coffee shops and restaurants including the amazing Climpson′s. On a Saturday there′s the famous Broadway market selling amazing food, which we never get tired of going to and on a Sunday, just 10 mins away there is Columbia Road market where we buy all our flowers for our courtyard and balcony. In the other direction it′s only 5 mins to Victoria Park and Victoria Park Village which has just as many great places to eat and drink. We love the Pavillion for coffees and breakfast whilst overlooking the boating pond. If Cinema and Theatre are your thing, Hackney Picture House and the Hackney Empire are an easy 10mins walk away from the house. Transport links here are incredible; London Fields station with trains running to Liverpool Street every 5 mins or so is a few minutes from the house and Bethnal Green station is within walking distance too. You can get to London Bridge in 30mins easy. There is even a bus that leaves from outside the door going to Canary Wharf; Hackney Central is close by for Highbury and Islington and into North West London.
