From the seller:
What do you love most about your home?
As it′s a private mews, it′s very secure and hidden away, it feels like a little quiet Oasis in the middle of a bustling Zone 2.
Why are you moving?
After living in wonderful Hackney for many years we would like to explore a different part of London before moving to the seaside. We are really sad to leave our home and if we could take it with us we would.
What do you love about your area?
What′s not to love about this part of Hackney? We have been truly spoiled by the amount of amazing coffee shops, bars and restaurants on our doorstep.
In one direction in literally 3 minutes you are in London Fields park for barbecues and fun in the summer and perhaps a swim in the newly refurbished heated Lido. Not to forget The E5 bakehouse for THE best sourdough bread in London!
Broadway Market is a five minute walk from the house with lots of bars, coffee shops and restaurants including the amazing Climpson′s. On a Saturday there′s the famous Broadway market selling amazing food, which we never get tired of going to and on a Sunday, just 10 mins away there is Columbia Road market where we buy all our flowers for our courtyard and balcony.
In the other direction it′s only 5 mins to Victoria Park and Victoria Park Village which has just as many great places to eat and drink. We love the Pavillion for coffees and breakfast whilst overlooking the boating pond.
If Cinema and Theatre are your thing, Hackney Picture House and the Hackney Empire are an easy 10mins walk away from the house.
Transport links here are incredible; London Fields station with trains running to Liverpool Street every 5 mins or so is a few minutes from the house and Bethnal Green station is within walking distance too. You can get to London Bridge in 30mins easy. There is even a bus that leaves from outside the door going to Canary Wharf; Hackney Central is close by for Highbury and Islington and into North West London.
