Comments from the owner:
What do you love most about your home?
Our flat has always felt bright and secure, being on the top two floors - the living areas, in particular, have nice high ceilings. The square proportions of each room mean we have moved the space around many times to suit our needs - from parties with 20 friends many years ago to a cosy family Christmas and home working last year. We love the period features in our home, which creates a timeless backdrop for our modern style. There's also lots of storage space across the flat which means we've been able to keep things calm and minimal, even with a baby. Since the two flats below were merged into one a few years ago, we now have our own entrance space which gives us extra storage and privacy. There is also a bike hangar just outside the house where both our bikes are conveniently parked.

Why are you moving?
We have a growing family and would like some outdoor space

What do you love about the area?
There's very little not to like about this neighbourhood, and we will be very sad to move away from it. London Fields has been our everything in the past few years, and the places around it (E5 Bakehouse, delicious food places on Broadway Market, fitness studios, cafes, clothes and furniture shops) have made going for a stroll that much more fun. Even nearer to home, Wilton Way is our immediate neighbourhood's epicentre - there's always someone familiar that we pass on the way to Wilton Way Deli. The deli owner, Fran, will have our coffees ordered for us as she sees us turn the corner! We are lucky to have two pubs down the road - Prince George and Prince Arthur. They both have a very local vibe but are the sorts of places that our friends would travel far to meet us in. The street has its own WhatsApp group which has been the source of food, offers of help and useful information in the past year. We are also very fond of our neighbours - downstairs and the adjoining house.

Property Details:
Accommodation comprises entrance via the raised ground floor level with stairs rising to the first floor, leading into the bright and spacious full-width reception room with dual sash windows to front, feature fireplace surround, coved cornice, and ample space for relaxing and entertaining. The separate eat-in kitchen comprises a modern range of matching wall and base units with a central island, work surfaces, and metro-tiled splash-back, incorporating inset sink unit, gas hob with overhead extractor, electric oven, and further space for appliances. On the second floor, there are two well proportioned double bedrooms, each with feature bays to front and rear respectively, plus an elegantly tiled family bathroom with a white three-piece suite.

The property is wonderfully located within easy access of Dalston Junction, Hackney Downs, Hackney Central and London Fields, stations as well as regular bus routes, all providing excellent links into the City and West End, and to the surrounding area. There are a wealth of fashionable shops, bars, cafes, and restaurants within a short distance, perfectly balanced with the lovely open spaces of London Fields within easy reach offering a peaceful retreat from the town. The area is also well served by an excellent choice of outstanding primary and secondary schools.
