SELLER COMMENTS
What do you love most about your home?
I love the fact that I live in an ex chocolate factory! Aside from that, the window was what really sold it to me, it has a lot of character, unlike a lot of new build flats I saw at the time, I loved that this was a conversion, modernly built but nested in a bit of history. I also really like Grove Park behind the building and Nunnery Cafe, where I often have picnics and drinks with friends in the summer.
I like how secure the development is and that Mo is always at the front desk to wave me in whatever time I come home. I have really got to know my neighbours, even more so through lockdown and we often have drinks together in the courtyard when permitted or Bow Bells pub down the road (we have a building Whatsapp group).

Why are you moving?
In all honesty, I will probably stay in Bow but yes, I am after some more space and can now afford to get it. Finding a place full of character like this, will be a challenge definitely.

What do you love about the area?
I initially moved to Bow because I wanted to be in the midst of the excitement of East London and as close to Shoreditch as possible. Bow is at the centre of a triangle between Canary Wharf, the City and Stratford and is extremely well connected (4 mins walk to Bow Church DLR, which takes 10 mins to CW and 6 mins to Bow Road Station, which takes 10 mins to Liverpool St). I love the old London history of the neighbourhood and the proximity to my favourite park, Victoria Park, which I have fallen in love with even more during lockdown, as well as the many canalside walks that take you anywhere from Broadway Market, Tower Bridge or Canary Wharf. The area is constantly changing and there is a lot of exciting things being planned, including regeneration of the famous Roman Road market. At the Olympic Park, the government is developing the East Bank and a new cultural and educational quarter, which
will be home to the BBC, the V&A, Sadler's Wells, London College of Fashion and University College London.
