SELLERS COMMENTS
What do you love most about your home?
We've loved how this home has seen us through a few different stages of life and how the space has adapted accordingly - living with a housemate, having a spare room for friends and family to stay or for working-from-home, and now having a young baby. We love the light-filled, open plan living room and the quiet bedrooms. It faces both east and west, so it gets all-day sun. Being a new building it's wonderfully warm, dry and easy to look after.

Why are you moving?
We're moving back home to New Zealand.

What do you love about the area?
This is East London at its best - we're within a short walk of Victoria Park, the various canals, London Stadium and Olympic Park, close to some outstanding local pubs, cafes and outdoor markets, but also 20 minutes by tube to the City and Canary Wharf. The proximity to seemingly endless, beautiful green spaces as well as central London gives us the best of both worlds, and we're equally happy staying local for a weekend as we are enjoying everything that the city has to offer.
Lots of exciting new developments are popping up in the neighbourhood too, from microbreweries in Hackney Wick, East Village in Stratford, to the new V&A development that's currently being built. There's lots of great places to run, cycle and picnic.
Our favourite way to spend a Sunday: a leisurely walk with the dog through Victoria Park to the market for a delicious bite (the Kolkati rolls are exceptional), carrying on to Victoria Park village for supplies for the week (The Ginger Pig is our local butcher!), then an afternoon pint at the Green Goose (a beautiful, secluded little pub just round the corner from us) on the way home.
