What do you love about the property?

We love our perfectly formed home.

It has been great to live in a flat that has character and charm, but is also modern and really easy to maintain. It feels quiet and secluded while being in the heart of a unique pocket of East London.

It's really cosy in the winter, but stays nice and cool in the summer. The bedroom and living room get plenty of light, and we took a lot of care in renovating the kitchen and the bathroom to make the most of the available space.
The private garden is perfect for a bbq and drinks in the summer, or just for a breath of fresh air all year round.

Why are you moving?

Our life is in New York now, and with a growing family it is time for us to move on. Interestingly the property has been rented to members of our family for the last few years, who loved and cared for it just as much as we did!

What do you love about the area?

The area really is incredible in many ways and it has been great to see it transform over the last decade.

Victoria Park is a bit of an oasis, particularly at this time, and the cafes, bars, restaurants and boutique shops of Victoria Park Village are so idyllic. We highly recommend The Pavilion, Loafing, and The Empress of India! Roman Road also has a lot to offer, and truthfully we never feel the need to leave the area on the weekend.

That said, the transport links into the city and other parts of London are really strong with Mile End underground station (Central Line, District Line) a ten minute walk away, and the number 8 bus at the end of the street. It's really easy to get into Central London within 30 to 45 minutes.
