Top 3 things you love about your home
1. The location and the front room looking over the park. The front room is spacious and has a lovely vibe.
The bedroom size. It now has a better view of the back of the building due to recent updates. It is huge and feels very spacious ..you could have a child living there also with you. I have also used it as another living room and had a futon which I rolled up when not in use.
2. Security in the building. I always felt safe and cosy. The neighbours are so lovely and so there was always someone that could help you or you could talk to about anything. Even my old tenants said they have never had such friendly ( but not too friendly ) neighbours.
3. Even though it was a one-bedroom it was actually very spacious and comfortable for two people. I had friends to share so we used two rooms to live in. My friends or boyfriends who lived there all loved it and said it had such a nice vibe.
The kitchen has a window which opens so keeps the flat ventilated.

Three things we love about the area...
I have lived all over east London but this is my favourite for the location and closeness to restaurants and pubs and cafes and transport links
Weavers Field Park, Brick Lane, Columbia Road Victoria Park, Bethnal Green parks,
There is a great park for kids across the Road with new equipment and it is large! It has just all been re-done! It is great. A small playground out the back of the building.
A place to store bikes locked up at the back of the building.
Pubs, great coffee and casual places to eat all within 10 minutes and many options.
It is a 10-minute walk to a gym and there are three within ten minutes to walk to the laundromat across the park which comes in handy.
Shoreditch is a short walk, two stops to Stratford (in case you do not want to go to the city ), From Bethnal Green station to Oxford Circus is around 20 minutes on the tube.
A Big Tesco across the park and Sainsbury's and great fruit and veggies on Bethnal Green Road.
I love the community. Everyone is very friendly and has a good cultural mix.
On Sundays, I will go the flower market and grab a bargain then have a Sunday lunch at a pub nearby and walk home. All very scenic and interesting.
Q&A
Why are you selling? I have moved to New York and due to my work I will be living in the States for a while
What's the area like? Better than it ever was ... the surrounding neighbourhood is friendly and everything you need is local. Bethnal green is amazing and the surrounding neighbourhood. It is safe. I walk home at night but never through the park at night but I do not walk through any park at night!
What is parking like? There is loads of parking on the surrounding streets. Outside the building and the streets joining. Permits from the council and it is easy. I asked for permits from the council also.
How busy is the road, is it quiet at night? The road is all blocked off so no traffic. The weekends are a bit busy there with sports in the park. The nights are fine as there are no clubs or pubs around nor crazy parties. You can hear the train a little (though windows are double glazed ).
I'm currently working from home, how does that work in this property? I freelance as a makeup artist and an online business so have set up a table in the front room and have a window view. I go for a run around the park or walk in the morning across the road before work
What's the internet like? Great connection . It is all set up and ready to go.
What's the boiler like? Works well. It is in the kitchen
Are we able to do any work/extensions? Yes, the wall inside the flat near the kitchen is a fixture and if it is to be taken down then you will need permission.
